How are Credit Unions Different from Banks?
A Credit Union is a not-for-profit organization of
individuals, as opposed to a for-profit business dedicated to
earning money for its shareholders and not for you. Since there
are no shareholder dividends to pay and no salaries for our
Board of Directors, all that money comes back to YOU, our
member-owners, in the form of higher rates on deposit accounts
and CDs and lower rates on loans. What could be better?

Membership is open to anyone living or working in Alachua
County. If you are a registered voter and a resident of
Bradford, Gilchrist, Levy or Union county, you are also eligible

What this means to you:
When you open an account, we will ask for your name,
address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us
to identify you. We may also ask to see your driverís license or
other identifying documents.
